LEED & Green Building Certification Consulting

LEED is for all building types and all building phases, including new construction, major renovations, interiors, operations and maintenance, and core and shell. LEED projects focus on six main categories:

1. Location and Transportation focuses on compact development, alternative transportation, and connection with amenities, such as restaurants and parks.
2. Sustainable Sites highlights restoring project site elements, integrating the site with local and regional ecosystems, and preserving the biodiversity that natural systems rely on.
3. Water Efficiency addresses water indoor use, outdoor use, specialized uses, and metering.
4. Energy and Atmosphere addresses energy use reduction, energy-efficient design strategies, and renewable energy sources.
5. Materials and Resources focuses on minimizing the embodied energy and other impacts associated with the extraction, processing, transport, maintenance, and disposal of building materials.
6. Indoor Environmental Quality highlights building air quality, lighting quality, daylighting, acoustic design, and indoor environment control.
